We are a family-run business based near Duns in the beautiful Scottish Borders. We have expanded over the years, because it was a logical progression from restoring and creating stone fireplaces to offering a qualified solid fuel installation service.
Our services now include:
• building, repairing and restoring stonework indoors and outside
• installing fireplaces and woodburning/multifuel stoves
• chimney works, such as opening up and lining old chimneys, repairing stacks
We work on both sides of the border in Scotland and England, with clients throughout the Borders, East Lothian and Northumberland. |
Experience and accreditationAs well as having lots of experience in the work we do, the company is also registered with HETAS, the official body that approves solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services. Using a HETAS-registered engineer:
• gives you the peace of mind of knowing their work complies with building regulations and is done to a safe standard
• may reduce the paperwork required by local authorities for your home improvements (this varies between England and Scotland)
• could save you money.
