We don’t sell woodburners and multifuel stoves, but here are some companies who do: Pearsons of Duns, our local supplier Stanegate Stoves, Newcastle You’ll find lots of stove suppliers on the internet, but we’ve seen (and replaced!) stoves of dubious quality bought that way. WhatStove? is a review website that may help with your choice. The Real Firewood Company is based in the Scottish Borders and supplies all types of wood fuel to mainland UK, with free delivery. HETAS is the official body recognised by government to approve solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services. You can use its site to find qualified chimney engineers and chimney sweeps. The Solid Fuel Association is an advice centre on the use of solid fuels. The Carbon Monoxide Consumer Awareness Alliance works to ensure the public is aware of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning and how to keep themselves safe from this poisonous gas.
